What sound do giraffes make?

Developing our first series of animals for Noah’s Pals took a lot of work. We spent a lot of time researching the animals and we wanted to get to know their personalities. During our research on giraffes, we came across an interesting question:

What sound do giraffes make?

While they are generally silent animals, they are not mute. They can produce a very quiet twitter or fluttering sound. Sometimes they make grunts and snorts, particularly when they feel threatened. They also make a bleating noise. And like us, they sneeze, cough, and snore.

So if anyone asks you what sound a giraffe makes, just tell them that they make lots of quiet ones.
